The Greater Austin STEM Ecosystem has created working groups to map existing programs, needs, gaps and opportunities and to create the infrastructure and systems to advance collaborations and future efforts.

By April 2017 working groups will aim to:

  • Identify current programs and activities being implemented and conducted in the community that promote or advance the objectives of the STEM ecosystem
  • Identify gaps in programs and activities, geographic areas, and populations unserved as regards to STEM programs and activities
  • Identify areas of potential collaboration and coordination with other workgroups

By August 2017 working groups will aim to:

Establish a two year plan to address gaps in programs and activities in each workgroup area as it relates to STEM
